Rechargeable SUP pump Usage

  1. Charge the Battery
  • Use the original charger supplied with the GICLE Battery Paddle board Pump.Third-party chargers may not be compatible and could damage the battery. Plug the charger into a stable electrical outlet. Avoid using long or low-quality extension cords, as they can reduce charging efficiency.
  • Charge the battery when it shows signs of running low. Do not let the battery drain completely often, as this shortens its lifespan. Also, avoid overcharging. Although most battery paddle board pumps have built-in protection against overcharging, always unplug the charger once the battery is full. A light indicator will show when the charging is complete.
  • Charge the battery in a dry and ventilated area. Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat sources like heaters, and humidity. Extreme temperatures and moisture can reduce battery performance.
  1. Inflating the Battery
  • Before inflating, turn on the GICLE Battery Paddleboard Pump using the power button. Make sure the battery is correctly installed and connected. Turn it off promptly after inflation to conserve battery power.
  • Monitor the battery level during inflation. If it runs low before completing inflation, stop the process. Switch to DC12V power to finish inflation. Charge the battery immediately once the inflation is complete. Some battery paddle board pumps have removable batteries that can be charged separately.

Battery Maintenance

  1. Cleaning the Battery
  • Wipe the battery and the exterior of the pump with a dry cloth to remove dust, dirt, and moisture. Pay extra attention to the battery terminals. If you see any debris or corrosion, clean it using a small brush dipped in a baking soda and water mixture. Be sure to dry it thoroughly afterward.
  • If your GICLE Battery Paddle Pump has a removable battery compartment, carefully remove the batteries according to the instructions. Clean the inside of the battery compartment with a soft brush or soft cloth to remove any loose particles.
  1. Battery Storage
  • When the pump is not in use for an extended period, store the battery in a cool, dry place, ideally at room temperature (20-25°C). If possible, remove the battery from the pump and store it away from children and pets.
  • Charge the battery every few months to prevent excessive self-discharge and capacity loss.
  1. Battery Inspection
  • Regularly inspect the battery for signs of damage, such as swelling, leaks, or cracks. If you notice any issues, stop using the battery immediately and contact the manufacturer or a professional. Also, check the connection points to ensure they are secure and in good condition.

Battery Paddle Board Pump Precautions

  1. Safety Precautions
  • Keep the GICLE battery paddle board pump away from water. Although the pump is somewhat waterproof, exposure to excessive water can damage the battery and pose a risk of electric shock. If the pump gets wet, dry it thoroughly, especially around the battery area, before using or storing it.
  • Handle the battery gently. Avoid dropping it or rough handling. A violent impact can damage the internal components and cause malfunctions or even a fire hazard.
  • Do not expose the battery to open flames or extreme heat sources. If the battery catches fire, use a U.S. Class C fire extinguisher and evacuate if necessary.
  1. Compatibility Precautions
  • Only use the GICLE battery paddleboard pump with accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Using incompatible accessories may put extra load on the battery, affecting the pump’s performance or damaging the battery.
  • Regularly check for software or firmware updates for your GICLE battery paddle board pump. Some updates may improve battery management and pump performance. Follow the instructions for proper installation.
